On February 2, 2016, the MGB-10 with its representatives joined the DENR-10 in the celebration of World Wetlands Day and National Wetlands Day held at Taytay, El Salvador City. The celebration was spearheaded by the Protected Area Management and Biodiversity Conservation Section (PAMBCS) of the department, and took off with an opening program wherein Mr. Ranoray Noro gave an overview of what the celebration is about and the importance of wetlands in our ecosystem.
The celebration was also participated in by representatives coming from the various division/section of DENR-10 and its line bureaus. It capped off with a coastal clean-up and bird watching activities.
