Last March 30, 2021, Holcim Resources and Development Corporation (HRDC), headed by its Operations Manager, Engr. Dailyn A. Nivero, turned over to Talacogon Integrated School (TIS), through its Principal, Ms. Hazel Joy Pagador, fifty (50) wooden armchairs. TIS is one of HRDC’s Social Development and Management Program (SDMP)/Brigada Skwela Adopted-School in Lugait, Misamis Oriental.
The donation is part of HRDC’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiated by their Environment officer, For. Antonieto C. Añora. The donated wooden armchairs were from fallen trees in their existing tree plantations affected by natural causes such as strong winds and heavy rain.
The said event was attended by Engr. Rodante B. Felina, Chief of Mine Safety, Environment and Social Development Division (MSESDD) and For. Domingo B. Lebosada, Senior Environmental Management Specialist (SEMS) of the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB) Region X.
