The USAID Water Security for Resilient Economic Growth and Stability (Be Secure) Project in partnership with the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) presented the latest El Niño Update and the first La Niña Watch during the forum held at the Board Room of the Cagayan de Oro Water District on May 20, 2016.  Ms. Salvacion Naranjo of the Geosciences Division represented MGB-10.  The geohazard maps on flood and landslide susceptibility provided by the Mines and Geosciences Bureau to the local governments was acknowledged during the forum.
