Participants include quarry Operators, sand and gravel permit holders, Representatives from the Environmental and Natural Resources Office (ENRO) of Misamis Oriental and Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon Environmental and Natural Resources Office (BENRO), Bukidnon, Cagayan de Oro City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO), City Environmental Management Office (CEMO), Iligan City, Local Government of Camiguin, PENRO of Misamis Oriental, CENROS of Initao, Ozamis and Oroquieta Cities and one Non-Government Organization representative from SULOG based in Cagayan de Oro City.

The one-day activity started with presentations on Updates with the Recent Mining Policies including Small-Scale Mines Safety Rules and Regulations, Environmental Protection and Enhancement Program (EPEP), Certificate of Environmental Compliance and Community Relations Records (CEMCRR), and Mineral Land Surveys presented by MGB-10 technical staff, and Environmental Compliance Certificate discussed by Engr. Alex Jimenez, Chief Clearance and Permitting Division of the Environmental Management Bureau-10.

MGB-10 Regional Director Rex S. Monsanto presented the topic on Integrated Environment and Natural Resources Law Enforcement.

The Regional Mining Summit is conducted by MGB 10 as a tool of learning and an avenue to update and orient mining stakeholders on the recent and much needed information /policies, and to provide them an avenue where they can raise and find resolve to their issues, concerns and queries relative to the Minerals Industry in the Region 10.
