TROPICAL CYCLONE ALERT: TROPICAL DEPRESSION ONYOK
Issued at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, 16 December 2015

The tropical depression East of Mindanao has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and was named “ONYOK”.

Location of Center (as of 4:00 p.m.) at 860 km East of Mati City, Davao Oriental, with Maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center. Forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph.

Forecast Positions/Outlook:

–  24 hour (Tomorrow afternoon): 470 km East of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur.
–  48 hour (Friday afternoon): 130 km East Southeast of Butuan City, Agusan del Norte.
–  72 hour (Saturday afternoon): 115 km Southeast of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
–  96 hour (Sunday afternoon): Outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) 585 km West Southwest of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
