Under present weather conditions, At 3:00 AM today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 100 km East Southeast of Davao City, Davao del Sur (6.8°N, 126.6°E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
The 12-hour rainfall forecast is light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
WATERCOURSES LIKELY TO BE AFFECTED :
+ Lanao Del Norte – Rivers and its tributaries particularly Mandulog, Agus, Liangan and Maranding.
+ Misamis Oriental – Rivers and its tributaries particularly Odiongan, Gingoog, Balatukan, Cabulig, Lower Tagoloan, Lower/Middle Western Cagayan, Iponan and Alubijid.
+ Misamis Occidental – Rivers and its tributaries particularly Clarin, Palilan and Aloran.
+ Camiguin – All rivers and its tributaries
+ Bukidnon – Rivers and its tributaries particularly Upper Tagaloan and Upper/Eastern Cagayan.
People living near the mountain slopes and in the low lying areas of the above mentioned river systems and the Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils concerned still advised to take neccessary precautionary measures.
