DRRM/CCA Policies and Standardization Project: TRAINING ORIENTATION ON MAINSTREAMING DRR/CCA IN THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN AND ZONING ORDINANCE FOR REGIONAL AND PROVINCIAL OFFICES, HELD AT THE CHALI BEACH RESORT AND CONFERENCE CENTER, GUSA, CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY ON FEBRUARY 15 – 19, 2016

Osin Sinsuat, Jr., Chief Geologist, served as Resource Speaker on “Rain-Induced Landslides, Flooding and Sinkhole” during the “Training Orientation on Mainstreaming DRR/CCA in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan and Zoning Ordinance for Regional and Provincial Offices”, held at the Chali Beach Resort and Conference Center, Gusa, Cagayan de Oro City on February 15 – 19, 2016.  The forum was organized by the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) under the UNDP-funded project entitled, “Capacity Development for Managing Disaster Risks from Natural Hazards and Climate Change in the Philippines” also known as the “DRRM/CCA Policies and Standardization Project”.  The Mindanao Cluster was chosen as the first training rollout at the regional and provincial levels.
